I was originally asked to join The Faculty of Building by my friend and peer John Bracey who knowing of my enthusiasm for ensuring that the regional construction industry worked harmoniously and professionally together suggested that I would help to achieve this by assisting him with the organisation that he chaired, a forum that encouraged cooperation by providing a social network platform for the industry. It was the later set-up and local focus of The Building Forum that truly embraced our construction community. The Forum ensures the long term business and personal friendships that are required to be able to work continuously in harmony in a province such as ours.
