The Building Forum

I was introduced to FOB by Graham Steen in the early nineties assisting with the arrangements for their golf event but was soon press ganged onto committee and involvement in all their activities.

In the transition from FOB to TBF the attraction has always been that it was the only organisation that integrated and involved everybody within the construction and development industry. The events organised enable people to keep in touch and maintain the close net ties and camaraderie which formed during the construction process for each project with the added bonus of raising funds for various charities on the way.

I was deeply honoured to be made president albeit by default due to the sad loss of John Bracey, who was such a great supporter and friend to many of us over the years. It is therefore with great pride that together we have formed this organisation and had such successful years; long may it continue for the enjoyment of the membership and benefit of the charities we support.
